Yesterday afternoon at 3pm, I was sitting in a Chinese restaurant in India drinking Kingfisher Beer with 2 Korean pilots and 2 random chicks. Sleep deprived and groggy, I couldn't help but wonder what I was doing there. Ok so I went to India. Guess which city?
My ultra luxurious, kinda over done marble and glass bathroom.

The slums right down the street were a sharp contrast to the luxury within the hotel gates.

A funeral home. Look at the crazy looking hearse parked in front, with tape holding it together.

The Gateway to India

The city had some amazing architecture, like this building opposite the gateway.

Random guys hanging out on a Thursday afternoon.

I remember playing with these sticky bubbles when I was a kid. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
The 2 Korean pilots I met while sightseeing. They were staying at the same hotel. One of them reminded me of Chris' dad. You know how dads dress. Funny pants and shoes.

A street vendor. The food smelled....interesting. But I didn't dare eat it.

Even their cabs are quaint.

I love India. I watched too many Indian music videos, CNN, and cheesy dramas on Arirang. Then I rolled over in my plush bed and slept for 10 hrs. And here I am now, back at home. Mission accomplished. |
